    I use these constantly, they are extremely easy to setup, much easier than the Ubiquiti products. Ive installed, maybe more than 100. The similar Ubiquiti NanoStation M5, has a complex interface and some things can be hard to find in the menus and tech support is non-existent, all those extra features (for me) just clutter my mind and my process / flow, setup takes longer. Compared to Ubiquiti, these puppies (I call them Aivo's)... for what I use them for, are awesome. I have successfully got them to shoot thru a building before with very high data speed and great bandwidth. I dont count on the building thing tho, for me thats been hit or miss, and maybe my method is wrong or I'm missing something....but it has happened and still works (4 years later those cameras are still rollin ;) and that is pretty darn cool! Setup is extermely easy and quick, (it has a setup wizard)... asks you wether or not your deploying it as an AP or the CLIENT side....ask for password, SSID, IP address, and lets you adjust the beam and channel with simple sliders / drop down menus, holds your hand basically during setup. The main page of the interface shows you a neat graph about the health and status of the connection, and a few buttons and options (but not too many!! :) ((Thank you)) We use them all the time on large properties for security / network purposes. I have yet to try to configure this with a 5g cellphone, but I read that can be done. Maybe I will update when I try it next. Thanks for the cool product.

Your NVR model can be upgraded to the 1.4.4 firmware, but for your specific case, since your firmware is slightly older, it will require an additional firmware update before being upgraded to 1.4.4.     How does one delete a app? Downloaded the wrong version of firefox, and deleted the app folder in file directory, but the app icon is still in "my apps". When i transferred the suiteable version of firefox into the network tester and hit install, it just said "app not installed". Thanks for answers <3

      @@AVYCON already did, and i took it in for repair, i hope there is a quick turn around , the issue though is that it comes in a flimsy bag and it will possibly break again. I mentioned it on my call but the person on the phone only agreed with my statement.

    Do cameras have to have an IP already assigned to them for this to work? Or if I just have a brand new unopened ONVIF camera, would I be able to aim it without it having an IP yet?

      Chris, Our tester can provide a DHCP server so that the camera will not need an IP address assigned. Certain cameras though will need to be activated before even attempting to connect with ONVIF, and in some cases ONVIF will need to be activated in them as well. We do have a web browser built into the tester, so you may be able to log into the camera and enable these options to begin the aiming of the camera. If you do have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our technical support department at 949-752-7606, Monday - Friday, 6am-5pm PST.

    I wish I could see my cameras through my PC. I used to be able to but cannot any longer. autonat.com used to work but that is no longer a choice when you select NAT on the NVR.

      Jason, Some of our newer models of recorders (DVRs and NVRs) still support NAT, but the website has changed for these new models. While any existing QR codes that begin with the letter N will still work with autonat.com, the newer models of recorders with QR codes that begin with the letter K will only work with avyconp2p.com . Please try using that website and if you still can’t connect to your recorder remotely, please feel free to contact our Technical Support at 949-752-7606, Mon. - Friday, 6am-5pm PST.

      @@89vette1 Jason, It might be that you need to disable the NAT feature and then re-enable it to re-initialize the connection to our NAT servers.       John, Since our tester relies on communicating with IP cameras using the ONVIF protocol, it might be that the Cisco IP camera you were testing might not have ONVIF enabled by default.
